Let's take half a day at a Cacao World Class experience within the Coffee Region. Most people don't realize cacao origins are from the Amazons in the area now a days know as the border between Ecuador and Colombia. At this experience we'll travel to time back to the colony days and gain appreciation not just for chocolate but for modern food.
We'll go along trough the different processes from the seeding, the reproduction and sustainability of the crop, passing trough all the transformation processes after collecting the cacao pods, finishing with a Chocolate fount served along with local pieces of fruit. Lunch or dinner is included.
This experience takes us to the future of agriculture in the region due being cacao a more profitable product than coffee in present times. This experience could be easily combine with a coffee tour within the same farm and coffee experiences in nearby authentic coffee towns or a visit within the local botanical garden.
