Cocora's Valley Hike & Colonial towns from the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape

Let's get in touch with nature at a unique place in the world. We could choose between a short 2 & 1/2 hour walk or a 5 & 1/2 hours hike at the Cocora valley mixed with Salento's magic and/or Filandia.

The Cocora Valley is a unique place to the world thanks to the easy access to an endemic plan of central Andes as the local wax palms, the fourth tallest plant in the planet and Colombia's national tree. This is a one of a kind landscape worth the time and efforts while hiking in the area. In the area we have access to a couple of beautiful viewpoints and the long hike could take us to a humming bird sanctuary deep in the native forest.

The long hike would take us to a unique hummingbird sanctuary but it's a full day activity perfect to get in touch with nature. If we go for the short walk we could mix the day with other activities in Salento, like playing Tejo (Colombian's national sport) and/or having a bean to bar experience at a local chocolate factory, or visiting the nearby town Filandia the so call most beautiful town within the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape.

Salento and Filandia are lovely towns that we could visit within the same day depending on how we costume your experience. These are colonial towns full of colors and crafts, with good opportunities for coffee.
